More than a fabric shop, Happy Hour Fabric is a place to slow down, make something meaningful, and connect with other creative people. We specialize in thoughtfully curated fabrics, notions and classes for modern and art quilters, garment sewing, bag making and hand-stitching. We believe the best way to decompress isn’t found at the bottom of a glass—it’s found at the end of a seam.
Learn English Paper Piecing (EPP), a delightful and portable form of quilting that involves creating precise shapes by wrapping fabric around paper pieces. This hand-sewing technique allows for endless design possibilities with beautifully aligned shapes.
Need a dedicated space to spread out and focus? Our studio is open for you! Whether you’re basting a quilt, cutting out a garment, or just need a break from your kitchen table, our rental blocks give you the space and motivation you need to get it done.
In this 4-week session you will learn the basics of using a sewing machine and lay a foundation of sewing knowledge that will allow you to take on more complex projects!
