More than a fabric shop, Happy Hour Fabric is a place to slow down, make something meaningful, and connect with other creative people. We specialize in thoughtfully curated fabrics, notions and classes for modern and art quilters, garment sewing, bag making and hand-stitching. We believe the best way to decompress isn’t found at the bottom of a glass—it’s found at the end of a seam.
In this 4-week session you will learn the basics of using a sewing machine and lay a foundation of sewing knowledge that will allow you to take on more complex projects!
Sewing a garment is a very specialized skill, but as you have likely experienced fitting a garment to your unique body is another challenge entirely! This class aims to demystify the process of fitting a garment to your unique body, style, and gender expression.
Curves are not scary (we promise). In this class, you’ll learn approachable techniques for sewing smooth and accurate curves.
