Foundation Paper Piecing | Quilting Class

Whether you're brand new to paper piecing or looking to refine your technique, this class will walk you through the process step-by-step — no stress, just scraps, stitches, and satisfying results.

Using a variety of scrappy fabrics and pre-printed paper patterns, you'll learn how to create crisp, accurate triangle blocks perfect for quilts, pillows, or your next stash-busting project.

What You’ll Learn:

• The basics of foundation paper piecing (FPP)

• How to confidently sew on the line and trim with precision

• Tips for fabric placement and scrap selection

• Tricks for organizing and assembling triangle blocks

What to Bring:

• Add-A-Quarter Ruler

• A selection of fabric scraps (light, medium, and dark values work great!)

• Basic sewing supplies (rotary cutter, ruler, scissors, etc.)

• A sewing machine in good working order

Who It’s For:
Confident beginners and up! If you can sew a straight line and want to explore paper piecing, this class is for you. No prior FPP experience necessary.

Leave With:
A handful of beautiful Scrappy Triangle blocks, the skills to continue at home, and a new way to use up those cherished fabric leftovers!

Cancellations: We kindly ask that students give a minimum 72 hours notice of cancellation or rescheduling needs. This advance notice will allow us to make any necessary adjustments to our schedule and accommodate other makers.

Refunds: Class cancellations made with a 72 hour notice or more will either receive a full refund on a gift card, or a full refund minus the $5 card processing fee to the card that was used to purchase the class registration. This fee accounts for the costs associated with the transaction and ensures a smooth and secure refund process.
