Hemingway Pouch

In this class you'll make a Hemingway Pouch to use for books, e-readers and more. In this class you'll complete the large size pouch practicing quilting, zippers and binding. 

What You’ll Learn:

• Build skill through small, satisfying projects

• Core skills: seam allowances and finishes, binding, installing zippers and bag hardware

• Tips for fabric placement and scrap selection

What to Bring:

• Hemingway Pouch Pattern available in the shop with 10% off with class discount
• We are making the Large size: 1 Main FQ, 1 Lining FQ and 1/4 accent fabric
• 21" x 18" Foam Stabilzer
• 24" or longer #4.5 or # 5 zipper (if you have a 30" double zipper, you can make 2 pouches!)
• Basic sewing supplies (rotary cutter, ruler, scissors, etc.)
• A sewing machine in good working order
• Zipper Foot
