Quilting with your walking foot

Ready to move beyond “stitch in the ditch” and gain confidence in quilting your own projects? In this beginner friendly class, you will learn how to quilt using a walking foot on your domestic sewing machine. We’ll cover machine setup, batting and thread basics, marking and spacing quilting lines, and several simple quilting designs that create beautiful texture without requiring free-motion quilting skills.

You will practice straight-line and gently curved quilting techniques while learning tips for reducing puckers, managing bulk, and achieving smooth, even stitches. You will leave class with greater confidence in using your walking foot and ready to turn some of your quilt top flimsies into beautiful quilts!
